A small street in Paris, formerly the haunt of painters and artists… Henri Matisse, Auguste Leroux, Francis Gruber, Edouard Marcel Sandoz… had workshops there. It was in the 1900s.Not impacted much by Baron Haussmann’s projects during the Second Empire, the district has developed a picturesque architectural diversity and remained quaint, especially the row of workshops, tiny coquettish buildings, restored mansions…A place for groups to take their Sunday stroll while seeking out a unique side of Paris, day after day, I follow the quiet life of the inhabitants and their companions…
